W64/Wave54 — is limitless version of WAV format (limited to 2GB).

Audacity must have W64/Wave64 export support because:

  • Audacity can open these W64-files. So any user, which opens large lossless WAV/W64, after performing large amout of editing, expects, that she can save it in lossless WAV/W64 format. (Saving long project in simple WAV truncates duration).
